Project Overview
The Inspired Minds Art Center represents a common challenge for local small businesses in the digital landscape: its online presence was not up to date with its growth, and much conversion potential remained untapped.
Founded in January 2020 by Sinéad Whiteside and Susan Guerra, this woman-owned arts education hub in Buda, Texas required a comprehensive digital transformation to support their ongoing expansion in business scale and clientele, as well as to fill summer 2026 camp enrollments.
Upon discussion with Sinead and Susan, we approached the project with the following objectives:
Enhance user experience through technical improvements.
Increase organic search visibility to drive qualified traffic from local families.
Implement sustainable analytics infrastructure for business owners to track ongoing performance.

We began by completing a comprehensive SEO audit utilizing industry-standard tools including PageSpeed Insights and Semrush. To move beyond identification toward strategic prioritization, we integrated audit findings with Google Analytics data, enabling impact assessment based on actual user behavior patterns.
Our analysis revealed that 71.6% of site traffic originated from mobile devices, establishing mobile optimization and page load time reduction as critical priorities for reducing abandonment rates.

At the same time, Wix analytics uncovered that existing blog content generated minimal engagement or organic visibility, which is a significant missed opportunity. We flagged this to be critical for improving search indexing and capturing organic traffic through existing assets.

This segmentation informed our content market strategy, conducted using insights from Answer the Public and review of Inspired Minds' existing class portfolio.

Working with real stakeholders and business constraints sharpened my ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and strengthened my proficiency with SEO and data analytics tools.
A designer by trade, given the opportunity, I would love to implement some of the recommendations we proposed, to incorporate them into a website redesign, and to use methods like A/B testing to validate. Embedding SEO and UX best practices into the website design would provide Inspired Minds with durable competitive positioning in their local market.
